The Czech Republic said Wednesday that it recognizes West Jerusalem as Israel's capital, adding that ''considers Jerusalem to be future capital of both states, meaning the State of Israel and the future State of Palestine.''
''The European Union expresses serious concern about today’s announcement by the United States President Trump on Jerusalem and the repercussions this may have on the prospect of peace,'' EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini said in a statement.
Last Wednesday, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar, met with the Chairman of Israel’s Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee Mr. Avi Dichter. The meeting was also joined by other Israeli diplomats, including political party representatives and the Israeli ambassador to Russia.
Israel’s diplomatic ties with the world are flourishing in a way “that is unprecedented in the annals of the State of Israel,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Monday.
